Lot of 3-Herend Porcelain Figurines – 1.) Butterscotch Fishnet-Laying Rabbit with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15335 date: 1996. Figure Measures: 4 1/4" Long and 3" Tall. 2.) Green Fishnet-Crouching First Edition Rabbit with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15597 date: 1997. Figure Measures: 3" Long and 1 1/2" Tall. 3.) Black Fishnet -Rabbit Thumping with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15387 date: 1994. Figure Measures: 2 1/2" Long and 3" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on bottom of all Figurines. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
