Lot of 2-Herend Porcelain Figurines – 1.) Butterscotch Fishnet-Sitting Rabbit Preening with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15307 date: 1996. Figure Measures: 4 1/2" Long and 6" Tall. 2.) Butterscotch Fishnet-Sitting Rabbit Preening with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15307 date: 1995. Figure Measures: 4 1/2" Long and 6" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on bottom of all Figurines. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
