Lot of 3-Herend Porcelain Figurines – 1.) Black Fishnet-Goose with Golden Egg with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #5936 date: 1993. Figure Measures: 4 1/2" Long and 7 1/2" Tall. 2.) Green Fishnet-Goose with Golden Egg with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15293 date: 1992. Figure Measures: 2 1/2" Long and 4" Tall. 3.) Black Fishnet – Kiwi with Egg, with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15334 date: 1994. Figure Measures: 3 1/4" Long and 3" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on bottom of all Figurines. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
