Description
The Marlin Model 44A is a scarce early pump-action shotgun chambered in 20 gauge and fitted with a 28-inch barrel. Produced in limited numbers prior to World War II, this model showcases Marlin’s experimentation with hammerless pump designs before their later Model 42 and 49 lines. It features a blued steel receiver with simple lines, tubular magazine, and grooved walnut slide handle with matching walnut stock. A seldom-seen collectible example from Marlin’s transitional era of sporting shotgun production. Serial number: 2141.
