Description
Northern Canaanite-Syrian Astarte goddess Figure 6 in. H. One similar sold for $1600 via the Borowski Collection in 2000, Cat No. 84, p. 102 which was a MB II (20000-1550 BC). See attached photos as evidence of condition and details.** Note** Lots 1 through 47 were all acquired by Professor Benjamin Darsky (Former University of Michigan Professor) while on one of his sabbatical trips to the Holy Land Region. He traveled there several times in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. Lots that have original receipts will have photographs included with the lot.
