Lot of 3-Herend Porcelain Figurines – 1.) Rust Fishnet-Chick on Grass with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #5034 date: unknown. Figure Measures: 3" Long and 4" Tall. 2.) Rust Fishnet- Colibri Hummingbird with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #unknown date: 1994. Figure Measures: 4 1/4" Long and 3 3/4" Tall. 3.) Blue Fishnet – Pair of Love Birds with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #5059 date: 2000. Figure Measures: 4 1/8" Long and 2" Tall. 4.) Butterscotch Fishnet – Owl with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #5106 date: unknown. Figure Measures: 4" Long and 4 3/4" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on bottom of all Figurines. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
