Description
Herend Porcelain Rust Fishnet Figurine – Crouching Fox with 24K Gold Accents. Mold Figurine #15354 date: 1997. Figure Measures: 11 1/2" Long and 3 1/2" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on Bottom. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
