Description
A classic early production Winchester Model 1890 slide-action rifle chambered in .22 Short, manufactured in 1901. This takedown configuration features a 24 inch octagon barrel, tube magazine, and walnut straight-grip stock with grooved slide handle. The rifle exhibits the iconic exposed hammer design and solid steel receiver of the John M. Browning design. Serial number: 106970. A fine representative example of Winchester’s first successful pump-action .22 rimfire rifle.
