Colt Detective Special double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special, featuring a 2" barrel and
six-shot cylinder. Serial number 11185R, manufactured in 1977. The Detective Special remains one of
Colt’s most iconic snubnose revolvers, known for its robust construction and smooth double-action
trigger. This late-production example features factory checkered walnut grips and the high-polish blue
finish typical of 1970s-era Colts.
