Description
Smith & Wesson Model 38 Airweight revolver chambered in .38 Special, serial number J159849. Built
on the J-frame with a lightweight alloy frame and steel cylinder, this model features a 2-inch barrel,
shrouded hammer, and fixed sights. The square-butt frame is fitted with factory checkered walnut grips
bearing S&W; medallions. Known for its portability and ease of carry, the Model 38 “Bodyguard” design
remains one of the most practical and collectible snub-nose revolvers produced by Smith & Wesson.
