Santo Domingo Storage Jar by Monica Silva 1920-1925. White slip with rows of inverted triangles in black on neck, black painted designs below rim. 20 in. H x 22 in. D. Acquired from Lucille & Marshall Miller Native American Art in Orchard Lake Michigan Cat. P878 5/14/1990 for $8400. On 9/9/2008, David Roche an Associate at Sothebys said the jar "is quite nice and based on the images, we would suggest an auction estimate of $20,000/30,000. This is pending firsthand inspection." -This note was kept in Mr. Darsky’s records via email receipt that was printed. See attached photos as evidence of condition and details.
