Description
Vintage Alexandrite 12k Gold Ring . 10.20MM round old Synthetic Alexandrite stone, that is very clean, having an overall weight of between 3.5-4.0ct. This stone is set in a 6 3/4 size 12k gold mount. Under short wave ultra violet light this stone shows moderate fluorescence. Inside of shank stamped with three Hallmarks as follows, 12K Marking in Arabic, Ibis Bird marking, indicating gold, the last marking is a date marking, then moved to this Hallmark system in 1946, we have not identified an exact date. Based on makers with believe that this ring was manufactured in Cario, or Beni Souef. Ring size is 6 3/4. Center stone has tested authentic by a calibrated Presidium Gem Tester II.
