Lot of 24th Michigan Infantry Co. C H.W Hughes Identified Items. Hiram W. Hughes from Plymouth Michigan enlisted in Company C in 24th Michigan Inantry on August 5th, 1862, he was wounded in action at Fredericksburg, Virgina May 20th, 1863, being dischared at Columbus, Ohio on July 1, 1865. Lot includes Seven Souvenir Badges Five of which are Celluloid. Badges included are as follows 18th Annual G.A.R Encampment Saginaw, Mich, 1899 6th Annual Reunion of Northeastern Soldiers and Sailors Association Clare, Mich, "The Boys of 61’" Color Celluloid Badge, Northeastern Soldiers & Sailors Association Reunion 1902 Badge, "Lincoln’s" First Call Troops 1861 Mt. Pleasant Mich 1903, 13th Annual Encampment of North Eastern Soldiers & Sailers Association Coleman, Mich, and 1910 North-Eastern Soliders and Sailers Ass’n Reunion Ribbon.
