Mr. Limpert found this sign while renovating the Black Sheep Tavern building in The Goodyear Block, and always proudly displayed over his bar in his home. Sign Measures 20"x26." Original and Rare Manchester MI Oyster & Eating Saloon Up Stairs! Double Sided Wooden Sign. Exceptional and Completely Original Condition as found many years ago while renovating a Pioneer Saloon in Downtown Manchester, Michigan. After Several Emails about condition and light showing through the lower inside frame area. We have carefully examined and it appears to be shrinkage from age ca.1880-1900 and no wood or pieces are missing. See additional photos attached to this listing as evidence of our findings.
