Description
This lot includes two original multi-colored covers, and three original letters. John B, Nelson, and Chross all left to Muster in 1862 to Company I, 24th Michigan Infantry, Chross and John B. Died Five days apart later that year from disease. Nelson survived the longest, until passing away on August 5th, from wounds received on July 1st at the Battle of Gettysburg. If bought online, documents will be removed from large framed assembly and safely packed into a smaller box without frame. See attached photos as evidence of condition and details.
