Winchester Model 24 12 Gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun with 2 Barrel Sets
Description
This Winchester Model 24 is a 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells, offered here with two interchangeable barrel sets. One is a 24-inch set choked Modified and Cylinder, ideal for upland or brush shooting, while the second is a 30-inch set choked Modified and Full for longer-range patterns. The 2nd or longer barrel set does not have the same matching serial number as the gun and primary barrel. We did attach the 2nd, longer barrel to the gun and it does fit correctly. The Model 24, produced between 1939 and 1959, was Winchester’s rugged yet affordable alternative to its higher-grade doubles, built on a solid steel frame with reliable boxlock design and dual triggers. This example features a walnut stock with black buttplate and matching forearm. Serial number: 32479.
