A beautifully balanced Winchester Model 42 chambered in .410 gauge, 3-inch, manufactured in 1946. This example features a 26-inch barrel choked Full and embodies the classic design of Winchester’s scaled-down version of the famed Model 12. The Model 42 remains a highly desirable small-bore shotgun among collectors for its craftsmanship, smooth action, and elegant proportions. This specimen shows well-fitted walnut furniture with fine checkering, blued finish throughout, and Winchester’s unmistakable attention to detail from the post-war production era.
