Description
This Fabrique Nationale–produced Browning Auto-5 “Full 16 Special” is chambered in 16 gauge and features a 27 ½-inch barrel choked Full. It incorporates the famed long recoil operation designed by John M. Browning, recognized for its reliability and soft recoil impulse. This example displays classic pre-war FN craftsmanship with finely checkered walnut furniture, a blued receiver with clean engraving, and an M1-style cross-bolt safety. The Auto-5’s distinctive humpback receiver profile and enduring mechanical quality make it one of the most celebrated autoloading shotguns of the 20th century. Serial number: 79638.
