Description
An early example of Marlin’s transitional lever-action design bridging the classic Model 1893 and the later Model 36, this Marlin Safety Model 1936 is chambered in .32 Winchester Special and features a 20-inch barrel with full-length magazine tube. The rifle’s receiver displays the “Marlin Safety” marking across the top, a hallmark of pre-war production, and retains an honest patina consistent with age and field use. The walnut stock and forearm exhibit the straight-grip configuration typical of this model, complemented by a period leather sling and ventilated recoil pad. Serial number: 8966.
