This World War II–era Remington Rand Model 1911A1 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .45 ACP

and features a 5" barrel with a 7+1 capacity. Serial number 2038407 places this example among
Remington Rand’s wartime U.S. Government contract production (manufactured 1944). The pistol
retains the typical Parkerized finish and checkered brown grips found on service-issued 1911A1s.
