Lot of 3-Herend Porcelain Figurines – 1.) Blue Fishnet- Pair of Tropical Fish on Wave with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15273 date: 1997. Figure Measures: 3" Long and 4" Tall. Retail: $510.00 2.) Blue Fishnet- Clam Shell with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine #15534 date: 1996. Figure Measures: 3 1/2" Long, 1 1/2" Tall and 4" wide. 3.) Blue Fishnet – Tulip Sea Shell. Mold Figurine #15535 date: 1996. Figure Measures: 5" Long and 1 1/2" Tall. 4.) Green Fishnet – Frog with Ball with 24K gold accents. Mold Figurine # 15369 date: 1995. Figure Measures: 1 1/2" Long and 1 1/2" Tall. Herend Hvngary Logo on bottom of all Figurines. The famous fishnet decor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter become inspired by a fish scale design he saw. He painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, and the fishnet design is now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
