Description
All of the Silverware is clearly stamped USN. The Brass Tag reads 63-C553 US ARMY SPEC.No.28-18 Compr.NO W-431-QM-9711. Jeffersonville Q.M.Depot August 18, 1942 Everwear Trunk & Luggage Co. A long time collector suggested this may have been a Submarine Mess Kit and the US Army provided the Box. We don’t know that as fact but we are sure the bidders will know and bid accordingly.
