Description
1917 Plumb U.S. WWI Bollo Knife with original Collins Sheath. Leather sheath embossed Collins & Co. Legitimus with arm holding hammer sticking out of crown (Hallmark), extensive decorative tool work on leather sheath. Has all original hardware including rivets.Blade of knife is 13 7/8" overall length 19 3/4". Brass Bolster pins and handle are original as is brass handle cap with screw. One side of blade is stamped U.S. 45677, the other side of blade is stamped, PLUMB/PHILLA./flaming bomb logo/1917. A wonderful example of an original WWI Plumb Bollo.
